FOUNDER AND PODIATRIST
Helen established Langmore Podiatry in Berwick 25 years ago (the practice has in the past also been referred to as Helen Dixon Podiatry). Helen has established herself as one of the very best podiatrists in the country and there are very few who combine her level of experience and skill. Helen works in all areas of podiatry and is also trained in foot mobilisation, neuromuscular manual therapy, dry needling, nail bracing, Keryflex, PACT therapy, and extracorporeal shockwave therapy. In her spare time, Helen likes to pursue her hobby of bridge.
Marissa has a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University, where she was on the Dean’s Honours list. Before joining Langmore Podiatry, Marissa worked with the Melbourne City Football Club. Marissa enjoys all aspects of podiatry, with particular interests in musculoskeletal conditions, ingrown nail treatments and the applications of prolotherapy. She is experienced in the use of dry needling, nail bracing, Keryflex, PACT Therapy, and extracorporeal shockwave therapy. New technology and cutting-edge research is central to Marissa's approach to podiatry, because she wants her patients to have every advantage the field can offer. Also, having worked at a podiatry-based footwear store for many years, she has an extensive knowledge of footwear and how it can contribute to treatment.
Marissa is an avid Crossfitter and enjoys incorporating her knowledge of strength and mobility into effective treatment programs.

Emily has a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University and was fortunate to complete a placement in the NHS system (Glasgow). Prior to joining Langmore Podiatry, Emily worked at Northern Health in the area of diabetes and high-risk feet. Enjoying all aspects of podiatry, Emily is particularly enthusiastic about paediatric podiatry and diabetic foot care. She is also an experienced nail surgeon. It's not all podiatry for Emily though; she loves to sing in the shower, the car and even on stage!
Prior to podiatry, Emily studied a double Bachelor of Music and Arts majoring in Classical Singing.
Emily does not like public speaking and would much prefer to sing in front of a large audience.
Emily met her wonderful husband in Scotland, while on exchange as part of her podiatry studies. And yes… he has a fabulous accent!
Emily loves to travel, her current goal is to visit a new country every year.
Your first contact with Langmore Podiatry is usually via Debbie. She is the friendly voice answering the telephone and greeting you when you arrive for your appointment. Debbie wants your experience to be the best it can possibly be.
“Eight years ago I started the best job, working with the best boss imaginable. Travelling from Warragul is tiresome, especially on the cold winter nights but that is the only downside. The patients are such a delight. I look forward to seeing them when they arrive for their appointments.”
Married to Ian, Debbie is a Nana to five grandchildren. She is known as the ‘Marshmallow Nanny’ as she is so soft. The honest truth is that the grand kids have her wrapped around their little fingers. ‘If mum says no, ask Nanny, she’ll say yes!’
A proud and passionate St. Kilda supporter, Debbie can be found at all St. Kilda home games cheering the Saints on. She attended 3 grand finals in two years that ended in bitter disappointment. Hopefully one day she will see the saints win their second premiership.
Debbie hopes to travel in the years ahead, but in the meantime has to keep working to make that a reality.
